A $1,000 budget sounds like the premium end of standing desks, but every option in this guide was listed at about $220 or less at the time of writing. Rather than pad the list with pricier desks, we've focused on what each step up in price actually buys within that range.
The main split is format. Five are complete electric desks with a top included, from a compact 32-inch model to a 55-inch surface; three are VIVO converters that sit on the desk you already own and support two monitors. Among the complete desks, extra money mostly buys surface area or a different finish.
